We are almost four years old! Come celebrate!

Whoa... When Did the Seasons Change?!
We had such a great Autumn... we thought it was still Summer until very recently. Nonetheless, it seems as if Winter is finally upon us... and, with the changing of seasons, we have a ton going on!

First of all - we'll have our Winter Menu coming out shortly - end of November. Stay tuned!

What else is going on? Lots! We are, as a restaurant, turning four years old - and will be having an Anniversary Party to celebrate. Tony (one of our longest employees) is finally turning 21! We have our second annual Sing-A-Long Marathon with Michael Campbell, and more!

Our Anniversary Party!
We've been struggling with what to call it... we're turning four, so that's kind of like a birthday. But, it sounds way more sophisticated to say "Anniversary" party... even though, as far as we know, we are not a married restaurant. We're throwing ourselves a party, though!

November 30, 2007, we opened up to a bunch of warm, smiling faces. On Wednesday, November 30th, 2011 - we'll celebrate with our first-ever Anniversary Party!

Sure, it's a little tacky to throw ourselves a party... we were REALLY hoping someone would throw us a surprise party. But nope, that didn't happen. :( I suppose it would be difficult to throw us a surprise party at our restaurant.

So - on Nov. 30th, please come out and say hi. We'll have food and drink specials. It's kind of a big deal for a small, independent restaurant to be open four years in this economy - the only reason we've been able to stay open is with YOUR SUPPORT. So, thank you!

Walker, Texas Ranger's Birthday
Tony Walker has been at Maverick's since the very beginning - and he is FINALLY turning 21 years old! His mommy will be dropping him off at Maverick's at 5pm on this Sunday, November 13th. We'll throw him the "traditional" 21st birthday party. You know you want to come up and watch the hilarity that ensues. Tony would like everyone to know that the only presents he wants are vintage Barbie dolls - he is a collector.

Second Annual Sing-A-Long Marathon
Saturday, November 19th starting at NOON!

Who hates cancer? WE DO! Come and support our cancer fighting fund-raising event at Maverick's in Champlin for the 2nd Annual 101 Song Sing Along Marathon to Fight Cancer! Michael Campbell is doing it again! We heard this year he wants to hit 150 songs! He'll entertain us with his music and guitar playing all day and all night...and we are looking for people to sing along!! He'll have the lyrics to all your favorite songs! Please join us for the fun and tell all your friends to come too!!

This is a benefit to raise money for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, in memory of Scott & Krista's (regulars of ours) daughter, McKenna, who fought Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma for over 7 years. We'll have new Cancer Sucks T-shirts and Cancer Sucks wine glasses for sale! Food and drink specials will be offered throughout the event.

Don't miss this! Last year's event was a HUGE success and it's going to be even bigger and better this year!

Holiday Parties?!
Yes, it's that time of the year - Holiday Parties! We do an excellent job hosting your family's or your office's holiday party - if we do say so ourselves (which we do).

We offer great private parties - for as small as 15 people, and as big as 60! We have appetizer buffet, family style, or full plated menu options available. We are competitively priced and would LOVE to host your event.

Give Chase a call today to talk about booking your party - 763.576.8150!

Weekend Breakfast
Everyone knows that Maverick's has breakfast from 8a - 2p both Saturday and Sunday, right? Well, then tell your friends! We have an outstanding breakfast that has many very unique menu options. Check us out the next time you're going out for breakfast!

...And, That's All Folks!
Whuf-ta. That was a long newsletter. Congrats to you if you got to the bottom. One more request, if we may... PLEASE continue to tell your friends, family and neighbors about us. We encounter people ALL of the time that have lived in Champlin/Brooklyn Park for YEARS and had still never heard of us! A simple, "hey, you should check out Maverick's sometime" means the WORLD to us! We greatly appreciate it!

Muah. Much love.
