Crazy… as of today, we have been open FOUR YEARS! Thank you so much for supporting us on this very special day – and for the tremendous support that you have given us over the past four years. We don’t mean it lightly when we say, “we couldn’t have done it without you.”

If you haven’t seen it before, check out the “What Is Maverick’s” story that we have hanging up in our lobby (don’t worry if you feel like you haven’t seen it before – it’s fairly new). We talk about where we have come from and where we are going – but we’ll summarize it here: four years ago, never did we think we would wind up here!

It’s no secret that the economy hasn’t been too great over the last four years. Many, many small (and large) businesses have failed – including great restaurants. We know full well why we are still open – we have tremendously loyal customers that make a very conscious choice is where they spend their hard-earned money when they go out to eat – and sometimes, they choose us! We do not treat that choice lightly. On top of spending your money with us – you also tell your friends! We cannot even begin to tell you how much we appreciate that. We have tried a LOT of different forms of advertising – but you telling your friends, family and neighbors to try us goes a lot further!

We know that Maverick’s is different. We are fiercely independent, almost a scratch kitchen, interesting ambience and stellar service. But – it’s not just that – there’s something “special” about this place as well. It’s the warm smile from the regular crowd when you walk in the door. It’s the neighbor that you’ll run into on the way to your table. It’s the folks around the bar that want to buy you a drink. We’re a family here – every last one of us. We hope you feel like family when you’re here – seriously.
